The Best Breakfast Smoothie Ever

Calling all coffee, peanut butter, and banana lovers: your perfect smoothie is HERE! In an effort to try and get a kickstart to my day, I set out to find a super delicious smoothie recipe that included coffee (because let’s be real, coffee is a necessity at this point). As a result of my hunt, here is a modified (and numerously tested) recipe for the best breakfast smoothie ever!

For this smoothie, you will need:

A blender or NutriBullet filled 3/4 full of ice

1/2 cup of almond milk

1/2 cup of freshly brewed coffee

1 banana

2 tablespoons of peanut butter (or almond butter!)

1/2 cup of oats (optional)

A dash of cinnamon

Feel free to modify, substitute, or add in extra goodies to your smoothie. On certain mornings, I mix in chopped walnuts once the smoothie is already blended, or add in cocoa powder before blending. Hope you enjoy this (relatively healthy) breakfast smoothie!
